I’m Sarah-Lou Evans, teacher, mother and now officially a published author! My dream has always been to one day write important and meaningful stories for children, but until recently I have not had the time or confidence to make that dream a reality. My aim for the ‘We Too’ book series is to support and capture the interests of as many children as possible by encouraging them to empathise with the characters. I am so excited to finally share the first 6 characters’ stories, after working on this project for the past 3 years.
I’m Lorna Humphreys, an award-winning children’s book illustrator. As a child, I was always creative and an avid doodler, but it wasn’t until 2019 that I started to teach myself digital illustration. I love working with authors all around the world adding a little magic to their stories!
WOW! What a brilliantly, wonderful book. It really makes you think about how everyone is unique. All the characters are fabulous, I especially liked Benji’s story, not everyone likes football boys! The illustrations match perfectly to the book and characters and it’s so nice to see illustrations like these in a book, they put a face to the names. Well done Sarah-Lou. Here’s to the next one!
